Large scale antibody production

Model SLT (Single Large Tube) 10ml electroporator can electroporate 2x10E9CHO cells instantly for 400ml Fed-batch culture to reach g/L antibody expression level in 7 days. Manually processing 5 tubes for 2L Fed-batch culture would take only about 5 minutes.

Celetrix Model SLT industrial electroporator featuring a unique 10ml single large tube. It allows instant transfection of 2x10E9 CHO cells for large scale antibody production.
Model SLT also supports 200ul and 1ml electroporation tubes for smaller scale testing. It can also be equipped with cell fusion accessories for hybridoma generation.
Model EX+ electroporator can process 1ml tubes for 2×108 CHO cells for 40ml Fed-batch culture to harvest about 40 mg antibody. It is also suitable for stable pool generation and high expression clone screening.
Compared to flow electroporation devices on the market, single large tubes run much faster and there is no efficiency loss suffered by flow electroporation. Both small scale and large scale Celetrix electroporators can reach 99% efficiency on CHO cells with small plasmids and over 80% efficiency with 11kb larger plasmids.

For even larger production scales much more than gram quantity, we recommend the stable pool method. Starting from 10ml electroporation, a stable expression pool can be generated in 10-14 days and it can be frozen and thawed for higher and more reproducible production.
